This way, the player can remove the smaller and more immediate threats while Nuru continues to weaken the main target's shell, reducing the need for the player to split their attention. This becomes more helpful as the fight goes on, as Nuru will focus their attacks on the Ixodoom even as the chamber starts crawling with Ixolings. These attacks can eventually crack the Ixodoom's protective shell, but the player can hasten this by attacking the beast themselves. Inside the chamber, Nuru begins attacking the Ixodoom with energy blasts launched with a spear. The Hylotl Artifact is the second obtainable artifact.Nuru is first met in the " Fetch the Floran Artifact" Mission, in a small campsite in the early portion of the Ceremonial Hunting Caverns, letting you past a large gate, and occasionally pops up from time to time to help the player through closed passages, including the final gate before the lair of the Ixodoom. Once completed, they will obtain the artifact.
The quest to find the Hylotl Artifact will result in the player visiting the Grand Pagoda Library, and defeating the Asra Nox Boss. The Hylotl Villages will spawn primarily on Ocean Planets, although it is possible for the villages to spawn on other planets as well. Thus, they cannot obtain Novakid Weaponry. They will have melee weapons in their default crafting, similar to every other playable race except for Novakid.
Similar to the other playable races, if a player chooses to be a Hylotl, they are given their own unique Armor, as well a unique Spaceship with its own unique Pet. Although the Hylotls deny this, there is still a lot of tension between the two races. The Hylotl did not use their advanced technology, which resulted in a Floran invasion and the Hylotls having to settle on Ocean Planets. They were apparently at war with each other for a long period of time. The Hylotl have a long and bad history with the Floran. The Hylotl own the Letheia Corporation, which is one of the most successful companies in the Starbound galaxy. This race is known to be very intelligent, with a lot of art, science and philosophy knowledge among them. This race has highly advanced in technology, however they are peaceful and live under traditional japanese buildings.
